Install the plugin

If a download cannot start inside the Rhino panel, use the browser link or copy the installer link into your web browser.

1. Open Downloads in the Arkyv app and choose the Rhino installer. Check the application versions and operating system listed for it.
2. Close Rhino, run the installer, and follow its prompts.
3. Reopen Rhino, open your model, and open the Arkyv panel. Sign in with your Arkyv account.

Ask about the open model

1. Select the relevant Arkyv project if the task needs project files or regulations.
2. Start a chat in the Rhino panel. Describe the elements or geometry to inspect and the information you want back.
3. Check the reported result in your model before asking for changes.

Try asking

List the layers in this model and count the objects on each layer. Do not change the geometry.

Review and apply changes

Name the scope of the change: selected elements, a particular layer, a category, or the whole model. Include the new values or the rule to follow.

1. Review the plan when Arkyv presents one. Ask for adjustments in chat if the scope is wrong.
2. When an approval request appears, read the change summary before choosing Approve or Reject.
3. Inspect the result in your model. If a Revert action is offered for that operation, use it to request a reversal and check the result.

If Arkyv cannot reach the model

If the issue continues, send the team your Rhino version, plugin version, and the message shown in the panel.

1. Check that Rhino has a model open and that you are using its Arkyv panel.
2. Check that you are signed in to the intended workspace.
3. Install the current plugin from Downloads, then restart the design application.
