keep your project context together.

Bring files, regulations, conversations, and colleagues into the same project.

Create a project

You can update the regulations and add more files later.

  1. Open Projects and choose Create Project.
  2. Give the project a name. Add the permit date if you know it.
  3. Choose the relevant regulations. If a permit date is set, Autofill can help select versions; review the selection.
  4. Optionally upload the initial project documents, then create the project.

Add and organize files

Project files belong to this project. Organization Documents are shared at workspace level; users with the relevant administrative access can manage the shared library.

  1. Select the project and open Library.
  2. Choose Add Documents, select your files, and choose Upload All Files.
  3. Wait for the upload and processing to complete.
  4. Use folders to group related files. New folder lets you create a folder with its first upload.

Keep the project scope current

The available regulations depend on your workspace’s library.

  1. Open the project overview and find Regulations in Project context.
  2. Use Manage regulations to review the selection for the project.
  3. Check the permit date and selected versions when project requirements change.

Bring colleagues into the project

If someone is not in your organization yet, ask a workspace administrator to invite them first.

  1. Open Manage members from the project overview.
  2. Search for colleagues in your organization and add the people who need project access.
  3. Review the member list as the team changes.

Return to the work

The project overview brings together tasks, checklists, chats, canvases, and project context. Select the project before opening Library or Lists to work with the right files and activities.
