bring your ideas onto the canvas.

Arrange references, create renderings, and explore ideas with your team.

Create a canvas

  1. Open Canvas and choose New Canvas.
  2. Give the canvas a recognizable name. If you create it with a project selected, it is connected to that project.
  3. Add an image or PDF from the toolbar, or drop a supported file onto the canvas.
  4. Arrange references and add notes to explain what you want to explore.

Create a rendering

  1. Select the image you want to work from and open its rendering controls.
  2. Describe the materials, atmosphere, or changes you want. Add reference images if they help explain the direction.
  3. Review the available settings and start the generation.
  4. Compare the result with your source image. Keep useful results on the canvas and refine your prompt for the next version.

Try asking

Explore light timber cladding and a pale stone base. Keep the building’s massing and window positions.

Refine part of an image

Use Render history to revisit previous results.

  1. Select the image you want to refine and open its rendering controls.
  2. Choose Draw mask and mark the area to change. Click the first point or double-click to close the mask.
  3. Describe the change for that area and choose Generate.
  4. Compare the edited area and the rest of the image with the original.

Work together or share a view

A client link provides viewing access. Invite collaborators when you want people to work on the canvas with you.

  1. Open Share on the canvas.
  2. Use Invite people to add colleagues, or connect the canvas to a project so it sits with the project’s work.
  3. For a view-only presentation, create a client link and copy it from the sharing controls.
  4. Use Export as PDF when you need a document to send or keep.
