Claude for Revit
Arkyv puts the latest models from Anthropic and OpenAI, including Claude, to work inside Revit, Rhino, and Archicad. No connectors to set up on every machine, with review, undo, and the security your firm needs.
Your team gets an agent that works in the live model. Your firm gets shared workflows, admin controls, and strict data privacy.

Give Arkyv a task in plain language. It reads the model and your project documents, proposes a plan, and makes the changes once you approve.
Connecting Claude to Revit through MCP is a good way for one person to experiment. Rolling it out to a firm is a different job.
| Compare | Claude + a Revit MCP server | Arkyv |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | Claude Desktop, an MCP server, and a Revit add-in, configured on every machine | One plugin installer for each seat |
| Maintenance | Your team keeps the server, scripts, and Revit versions in step | Maintained by Arkyv for Revit 2024, 2025, and 2026 |
| Changes to the model | Depends on the server you choose | Shown before they run, and undoable like any other Revit change |
| AI models | Claude only | The latest Claude and GPT models, benchmarked on real BIM tasks |
| Firm standards and codes | Pasted into each chat | A shared library, with answers that cite the exact page |
| Repeatable work | Prompts saved by each person | Tested workflows, shared across the firm |
| Rhino and Archicad | A separate server for each, if one exists | The same agent and workflows |
| Admin and security | Personal accounts, set up user by user | Workspace admin, permissions, single sign-on, and strict data privacy |
| Support | Community forums and GitHub issues | Onboarding and support from the Arkyv team |

We benchmark the latest models from Anthropic and OpenAI on real BIM tasks, and run Arkyv on whichever performs best.
Review the affected elements and proposed values before anything runs. Undo edits as you would any other change in Revit.
Invite colleagues, manage permissions, and share a library of firm standards, codes, and project documents.
Turn a task that worked once into a tested workflow anyone in the firm can run with one request.
No MCP server, Python, or Dynamo to keep running. Install the plugin and give the agent a task.

A few details to make the demo relevant to your practice.
Yes. Arkyv runs on the latest models from Anthropic and OpenAI, including Claude. We benchmark them regularly on real BIM tasks and use whichever performs best for the work, so you don’t have to track model releases yourself.
No, but it works in a similar way. Arkyv’s plugin gives the AI model access to your live Revit, Rhino, or Archicad model and the tools to act on it. Because we build both sides, there is nothing to configure on each machine and nothing to keep in sync when Revit updates.
Yes. Open-source MCP servers for Revit let an individual connect Claude Desktop to their model, which is a good way to experiment. Arkyv is for when a firm wants that capability for everyone: one installer, reviewed changes, shared workflows, admin controls, and support.
No. Your models, documents, and conversations are never used to train AI models, and a strict data privacy policy covers everything you bring into Arkyv.
Revit 2024, 2025, and 2026, with Revit 2027 coming soon. Arkyv also works in Rhino 7 and 8, including Grasshopper, and Archicad 26 and later.
Not unless you let it. Arkyv shows the affected elements and proposed values before changes run, and every edit can be undone in Revit. You can choose to approve workflows you trust automatically.
